Glock 19 For Women - When I mentioned to some friends that I should write the Glock 19, this was the response. Yes, the Glock 19 was launched a few years ago, and no, the Gen hasn't changed much since its release. 4. So why review now?
Well, ladies, this one's for you. After questioning the Glock 19 and the possibility of making a good "dirty" handgun, I decided to put metaphorical ink to paper and give the Glock 19 an official review - a dirty style.

The G19 follows Glock's basic polymer semi-automatic, assault-fire pistol design. Featuring a 15-round capacity double barrel magazine, the rifle measures 7.28 inches by 4.01 inches overall. Standing just under five inches tall at 1.18 inches tall, the G19 falls nicely in the middle ground. The G19 is neither big nor small, the G19 is like the Goldilocks of the gun world – and rightly so.

The steel slide sits atop a polymer frame, offering a lightweight design. It weighs just over 30 ounces, making it easy to carry at the range or clip into a holster.
While stripping a Glock is one of the industry's favorite pastimes, I chose to shoot the G19 as it comes from the factory with no aftermarket accessories. As I mentioned in my G43 review, stock mounts leave much to be desired, and the G19s are no different. A standard white dot setup is bad. Under normal conditions they'll do just fine, but if portability is your goal, it's wise to swap out the factory sights for a pair that will challenge the target. With so many beautiful places on the market, there are many options to choose from.

The G19 ships with two rear mounts - medium and large - to accommodate larger hands. People with small feet like me can manage the grip, but it's not always comfortable. A similar design to Smith & Wesson's M.20, I would have liked a lot of rear sight changes to really adjust the grip for smaller hand shooters. Although we didn't experience any shooting due to the gun's size, I struggled with one-handed maneuvering, especially when it came to dumps. The mag release is slightly forward for my finger and sometimes I struggle to get it all the way down. Not necessarily a deal breaker, it was a bit disappointing.
The highlight of the Glock is the slide release. Very efficient, requires little effort to depressurize, allowing you to wash the chamber in one cycle. Also, the slide slides easily through the range. Those who want to move the slide around the camera won't have that much resistance on the G19.
The Glock is the quintessential "plastic gun", don't write it off as a toy. By sliding the 9mm round down at frenetic speeds, the Glock can keep up with whatever speed you want.

I spent several days at the range with the G19, shooting for several hours at a time. Despite my small arm muscles, I was able to control the G19 very well. I'm not tired of holding or aiming, I believe in the "plastic" design of the gun to make it lighter.
With the aggressive grip texture, I was happy that it didn't rip my face off when fired. Some manufacturers take their non-slip surface too seriously and end up leaving your hands raw and sore - not a good angle if you want to attract women with your suggestions. Glock has found a balance between keeping all skin in the shooters hand while still cutting enough to allow for a tight grip.
A G19 should be like a Glock. From the standard white box Winchester to the high-end Sig V-Crown, it reliably ate all loads. Undoubtedly one of the most reliable handguns on the market, it's not a stretch to see why this pistol is so popular with the concealed carry and shooting crowd.
Despite the aforementioned sights, they performed adequately and accurately on my mid-day range shots. I hit my marks at 7, 10, 15 meters and 20 meters. I don't take my Glock on a night range, but when I'm in the dark with it, I definitely use a small accessory rail to mount a compact light on the frame for extra help in low light. - light shooting.

When we're on the subject of frustrating behaviors, there's a major problem. Ah, that's the limitation of all Glock owners and the reason many turn to regular trigger kits. It's just not fun to shoot. Heavy and slow, this is where the Glock could improve or improve.

19 sounds terrible. This striped, black design is sure not to disappoint fashionistas. There may be a reason why some women are reluctant to try their hand at Glock's compact design. Simply put, it doesn't look good on girls, especially thin girls. While the G19 is surprisingly versatile, that's where its strengths lie. Shooters can really rotate anything they want, change the sights, move them, add some Cerakote or adjust the whole thing. Pair it with the many options available for women and men, and find many ways to make your Glock your own.
One of my favorite ways to carry it on the go is the Crossbreed Modular Belly Band. Having recently started running as a way to stay in shape, I've turned to a Crossbreed/Glock combo to keep me safe during morning races. Despite a pair of athletic running shorts and a thin tank top, I successfully and securely concealed the G19 inside the Crossbreed holster. My running buddy, I packed the 15mm 9mm while running through the hills of the Tennessee suburbs.

Where the Glock really shines as a great choice for female shooters and those new to the game is its ease of use. Point. Sun. Repeat. It doesn't pick up on ammunition, bugs are rare, and it's easy to maintain. In this review, I dropped the Glock on wet grass, dirt, and mud. It still swelled up every time. As I sat down to clean it, I noticed that there was mud on the slide. I didn't know it was that dirty because it just stuck. This is not a gun you need to worry about cleaning between visits to the range. Same poor service.
It's an advantage, given that disconnection requires the famous trigger pull. The separation itself is not difficult to do. This requires removal of the magazine and a close inspection of the chamber to ensure no bullets remain. Trust me, you'll want to do a visual inspection and manual inspection of this place. We don't want unexpected explosions. Once the gun is unloaded (check carefully several times), point the 19 to the safe side and pull that button. If you've done it right, you'll hear a familiar click. If you can't, you've got a good hole in the carpet.
After lowering the trigger, place one hand on the slide and use rearward pressure to push the slide back. At the same time, pull the releases on both sides of the gun. The slide should slide off the rails and slide forward. From there, remove your spring and barrel and cleaner. To put it together, place everything on the slide and place it on the rail. Put it on and you're good to go.

Ladies, you can't go wrong with the G19. Although it suffers from some development issues, the Glock 19 is a very interesting pistol and offers enough modularity to keep things interesting. With the ability to add aftermarket accessories and numerous options to choose from, the G19 commands high prices and proves why it is one of the most sought after vehicles on the market.
