Overall I think the gaiters are decent value and they arrived in great condition. I assumed (incorrectly) that they were all wool after reading the description. Inside is a thin layer of wool with a relatively tough and durable exterior of an unknown weather resistant material suitable for the intended outdoor use. I wear some old wool gaiters (I took the Velcro models and wrapped them with paracord - actually quite warm and comfortable) to keep me warm during the winter months. When I found the Swedish MilitarSurplusStore Gaiter, I felt they were warmer and easier to get on and off because of their heavy zippers. They are also relatively wide. I wore them over my other gaiters for days, but it wasn't perfect. I went to the emergency bag of my truck.
